Shame Shame Shame
No one likes to admit they have been bamboozled. The best candidates for brainwashing are perfectionists, along with people with high standards, persistent, resourceful, goal directed, self-sacrificing… i.e GOOD smart folks.
There is a lot of shame attached to the idea of being brainwashed. You might say to yourself, “Self, surely it could not happen to me? I am a strong individual and know my own mind.” However, you are up against very strong forces my friends.
Something deep inside of you knows that you have been hoodwinked, but part of you will not let you admit it to yourself, because it would mean that you were taken advantage of or worse allowed yourself to be controlled by an outside force. The first step over this issue is to admit that you have had a problem and there possibly could be a different way to think than the way you have been thinking.
Addiction
Overcoming brainwashing is an awful lot like an alcoholic coming to terms with the fact they have been powerless over alcohol. They feel shame about their past, until they come to terms with it and turn their lives around to a new and different way of thinking. Then there is no longer shame associated with the past, just honest and candor so that others can learn from their experience. Politics is just like that. But you must first and foremost be willing to admit you have been powerless over the media and turn your life and will over to a higher power.
Then there is the self guilt for having let this happen to you? But give yourself a break. We are raised to respect authority. The figures on tv, the internet and in the paper are figures of authority. We WANT to take them at face value. And it’s hard to compete when the same messages are being fed to you through a variety of different channels that are supposed to be offering you different viewpoints.
The thing is when you step back, you begin to realize that they are all presenting different shades of color on the same viewpoint. This is another brainwashing technique. Ask yourself this: Do you remember any stations anywhere or comedy shows anywhere that treated Donald Trump in a well-meaning or respectful way? Stop. think of anything positive you can remember that was said about him? Or was most everything you saw a smear against his history and character? While the criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton – the Watergate of our times – was rarely if ever covered by any media. Did or did not Hillary completely wipe her email server when the FBI requested it? She wiped it. If you or I did such an action, we would be thrown in jail. Why did people keep repeating that only uneducated men were going to vote for Trump??? I am a college educated woman and I am not a lone woman in my endorsement of Trump over Clinton. But that is the stat that was repeated over and over.
I had a Hillary supporter come to my door and ask me for my vote. I asked her why she would choose a corrupt politician over a fairly decent business guy non-politician. She replied, “I want a woman in the office. They’re all corrupt, but at least Hillary is honest about being corrupt.” I then suggested that corruption and honesty were not the same thing. That they are actually the OPPOSITE. Then she totally surprised me by saying, “Let’s Google the meaning of corruption!” I said great!
She got on her phone and started reading, “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power…” and her voice trailed off… I said, “You see if Hillary is corrupt as you admit she is, then she is not an honest person. Why would you want that as our president?” Her face glazed over like a Manchurian Candidate. She repeated, “I still want her in office…” and eventually left.
Clearly she was addicted to her way of thinking without being willing to ask herself critical questions, “Why do I hold the beliefs I hold? Where did my beliefs come from?”
Cold ‘Turkey’
The fact is, mass hypnosis is very difficult to overcome by an individual unless they are willing to go cold turkey and wake up 100%. And it helps to be around others who are seeking truth as well. Stay away from those friends who reiterate what they hear on the “news” and parrot their induced stances, thinking these are their own ideas. That would be like going out drinking with your buddies when you’re trying to stop.
I have been a vegetarian for 25 years for moral and health reasons. I have not had a piece of poultry since that time. And yet I can be watching TV and a Carl’s Jr and comes on with a turkey sandwich and I am instantly transported into thinking that a turkey sandwich might not be such a bad idea… What just happened? Luckily, I watch very little TV and have a top notch diet so that I get all my nutrients without resorting to fast food… I am able to realize in the moment that I am being effectively manipulated by marketing.
But not everyone is so tuned in. Add to the brainwashing tool-set the abysmal standard American Diet of the general public loaded with carbohydrates and sugars and of course pharmaceuticals that were never intended to be inside a human body. You think it’s no big deal??? Think again. We are fragile little hominoids and these things weaken us and make us more susceptible to any suggestion that will make us feel good in the moment.
Turn off the media, or if you must have it on, start to question every single thing that is being said and ask yourself, “WHY it is being said? Whose pocketbook does it ultimately serve?”
Mass Hypnosis is NOT New
The history of mass hypnosis is not new to the human race. ‘Member a guy called Hitler? An entire country of lovable and loving people known collectively as Germans were convinced that the only way to save themselves was to persecute others. ‘Member a guy name Roosevelt? An entire country of well-meaning lovable Americans decided that only way to remedy the situation was to drop a nuclear bomb on Japan. In each case, the survival mechanism of the masses had been triggered and they were brainwashed into believing what today seems like a dream… How could that have possibly happened to sane and reasonable people?
But it did. And that from technology from well over half a century ago. Times have changed and the tools of mass hypnosis have only improved since then.
Little by little they have been chipping away at the American psyche over the years so that many good and well meaning people are not even aware they have been chipped. It also helps that the hypnosis takes the form of progressive ideas that sound very good… initially… I.E. They are protecting the tired the poor, the persecuted. Taking away rights and individualism in the name of helping someone else. Only many of these things simply aren’t true. The news is mostly fabricated to get a response from you.
Isolation from Information
Merriam-Webster’s concise encyclopedia states that brainwashing is a:
“Systematic effort to destroy an individual’s former loyalties and beliefs and to substitute loyalty to a new ideology or power…”
“Techniques include isolation from sources of information. Strong social pressures and rewards for cooperation along with psychological punishments for noncooperation, including social ostracism and criticism.”
It’s been happening since mainstream media was first introduced. Every major media outlet is beholden to the financial support of those that keep them afloat. When you look behind the curtain and follow the purse-strings you see who is shaping the ideas of those who watch and believe. News and entertainment anchors follow the suggested itinerary and direction of the leader of their pack, because otherwise they will be ostracized and out of business. News is no longer unbiased (if it ever was). But this OP ED is not about this topic… I truly hope that you can see through the charade enough to understand that this is indeed happening. That people in high places are in the the pockets of others.
Did you ever question why we suddenly and dramatically had to turn in all of our Analogue TVs one day to Digital sets? I’m not going any further on this other than to suggest that you start to Google mind control, induced states of consciousness, psychotronics and things like Silent Sound Spread Spectrum. And BTW, don’t even trust Google to show you all the correct results.

Pervasive Persuasion
The thing that this is about is that if you watch ANY mainstream news: ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and yes, even FOX. And if you believe Factcheck.org and even SNOPES.com, If you have followed Huffington Post or even Alex Jones… You HAVE BEEN been hoodwinked. They know what works and what doesn’t work to manipulate you to think what they want. And because they truly believe that their way is the right way, they do not feel guilt for their manipulative actions. The ends justify the means. And it is sooo pervasive, in every single corner of the room. It can be difficult to escape this Matrix.
The good news is that IF you are willing to wake up… and IF you are willing to escape, you will not be alone. There are vast numbers of people who have taken the proverbial red pill. We all want you to wake up and will love and support your decision. It’s okay. Many of us have been through this before we woke up. Join the ‘fellowship.’
