Who is Behind This Site?

Anand Sahaja is the author of the book, The Good Wiccan, now out of print and available for free on her website: www.goodwiccan.com

Anand Sahaja was born on Candlemas many moons ago. Her name translated from Sanskrit means "Spontaneous Bliss." Anand is a solo practitioner born, raised and still living in the City of Angels. She is an artist by trade, a musician by love, and a writer by cosmic demand. When not pursuing those first three endeavors, she loves to garden organically, restore vintage collectibles, live a raw vegan lifestyle, entertain, visit with friends and watch old musicals with happy endings.

I believe in a woman's right to choose.

I am a raw foodist vegan.

I recycle and live more "green" then the most of Democrats I know.

I have friends who are gay.

I practice ritual to observe the seasons of the year.

I have an Objectivist philosophy towards life.

I lean towards Libertarianism.

I live by a strict moral code.

I have a higher power whom I prefer to be private about.

I am supremely greatful for the American miltary's protection.

I worked myself through college.

I enjoy working hard for my daily bread.

I am not a victim. I am a winner.

I do not believe in paying for the mistakes or shortcomings of others.

My non-traditional beliefs above should have NO bearing on my "Fiscal Conservative" orientation - the TRUE roots of Republicanism.

I believe that government should encourage individual initiative and support free enterprise.

I want my government to be fiscally conservative.

I do not want government to tax me for programs that I will never ever use.

I want my government to stay out of my personal life.

I am proud to be a Registered Republican.

And yes, I support McCain/Palin for the 2008 Presidential Election.
